Cinema
Emanuele Vesci returns with his second album: transported into a world of cinematic soundscapes with the highly anticipated new album, "Cinema." With three years in the making, Emanuele will take you on an emotional journey through epic arrangements and colourful sounds. CINEMA was inspired by a variety of my experiences composing music over the last 15 years, from film soundtracks to music for commercials and fashion shows. When composing music, I find inspiration in many things. In fashion, it might be the colors -- imagining every note represents a color and in return, every look gives me more notes, sounds, and emotions, all in vivid colors. This album begins it's fantastical journey with Magic Book, based upon the secret book of a dear friend. The odyssey continues with the landscapes of faraway places found in film such as Beirut and Andalusia that arouse the senses, while Deserto, Mare, and Cuba Forest were born from the sounds of nature, like those of the dunes, the sea, or a forest. The whimsical track Disco Fantasy presents a stark contrast to it's alter-ego, Alea, which in avante-garde music is a composition criteria that requires the composer to follow their intuition, to make composition choices casually, and affords them complete create freedom, resulting in a more abstract sound. Finally, the expedition ends with Cinema, the album's title track, which synthesizes all of what mentioned above – a collective of ideas, suggestions, and emotions.
