During a time of worldwide reclusion due to the pandemic, Oxfordshire-based singer-songwriter Lewis Watson had looked back at his previous releases and began to live stream the process of re-working his debut album 10 years later ‘the morning’ with hindsight and experience now at the forefront. He enjoyed the process so much, he decided to complete the album, which is entirely self-produced, and so was born ‘the morning (after)’. Lewis Watson is currently working on his fourth studio album.
