About A Girl is the second single to be released from British girl group Sugababes' seventh album Sweet 7. It was produced by RedOne and is the first single not to feature Sugababes founding member Keisha Buchanan, instead featuring newly recorded vocals from new member Jade Ewen. 　　It premiered on 6 September 2009 with Buchanan's vocals on BBC Radio 1 before the impending line-up change. A re-recorded version with Ewen's vocals aired two weeks later, and is scheduled for release on 9 November 2009 [2], two weeks ahead of the album.
